If you own a Lexus Hybrid or Battery Electric Vehicle, you’re likely very committed to building a sustainable future. This is a commitment Lexus shares. When a Hybrid Electric traction battery is properly recycled, 98% of the battery materials are diverted from landfill, and all toxic elements are removed.

In Calendar year 2023, we incentivised Lexus and Toyota customers to recycle 2,674 Hybrid Electric traction batteries, helping to combat resource depletion and minimise waste. We offer two incentives that aim to promote and reinforce effective recycling, accessible via all Lexus Dealers around Australia.
